NIRS Spine funded!

NIRS Spine is an instrument concept to be developed under leadership of Sergio Uribe and Antonio Eblen, both from the Institute for Biological and Medical Engineering. Both and ASI's Dani Guzman have been granted a FONDEF grant from CONICYT to develop a prototype of the instrument. NIRS Spine is a patented technology for measuring spine injuries.


TurbuVap new funding granted!

COPEC-UC Foundation has granted a new year of funding to complete the development of TurbuVap, our instrument system for measuring water rate in mining operations. This will take us directly to field tests at a mineral leaching process.


Retilumos Critical Milestone pass!

June 30, 2018

Retilumos is an instrument for imaging the human eye retina automatically, developed by ASI under contract with Retidiag SpA. Retilumos was approved by funding agency CORFO after presenting its technical progress report this month. Retilumos will be finished by early 2019.

First BioLum unit delivered on time:

The first BioLum unit was successfully delivered to our customer, Dr Luis Larrondo (Biology UC) and Dr Francisco Salinas (Biology USACH). The unit will be used for opto-genetics experiments. Take a look at the news in DICTUC's web page (in Spanish).
